This month's historical NDE is a rare first-person Native American account, told to the anthropologist Robert H. Lowie who entitled it, "Enga-gwacu's Experiences in the Underworld." During the NDE, the man's soul left his body, saw his own corpse, and met a being of light in the form of the Sun who sent him back to his body -- among more unusual, idiosyncratic elements.
