Cuyamungue Institute Interview - Sunday, July 11th

I'm looking forward to this Cuyamungue Institute interview on Zoom, this Sunday July 11th at 9am Pacific / 5pm GMT.

It's a free event, though you need to register to be able to access it. Here's the link: shorturl.at/oqQ24

Their announcement says I'll be talking about "the relationship between NDEs, shamanism, and beliefs about the afterlife in traditional indigenous societies in Africa, North America, and Oceania" - though they titled the talk "Near-Death Experiences and the Afterlife of the Ancients." So I guess they'll be asking me about both! It's a 2-hour session so there will be plenty of time for discussion as well as Q&A. Hope to see you there!

The Cuyamungue Institute was founded in Santa Fe by the anthropologist Felicitas Goodman, who did some really interesting cross-cultural work on what she called Ecstatic Trance Postures - as well as studies on exorcism, glossolalia (speaking in tongues), possession, faith healing, and otherworld journey experiences.
