First Article for Medium: "What Exactly is a Near-Death Experience?"

Updated: Nov 26, 2020

Seems like a pretty straightforward question, but you might be surprised at the misuses and misconceptions out there - which at least partly explains why NDEs don't generate more interest than they do! In my first article for Medium I argue that confusing the term devalues the profound, transformative spiritual experience of actual NDEs and obscures their significance.

This is the case whether you believe NDEs are genuine spiritual experiences or not, as I explain in the article.

Once you have read the article, please click the little clapping hands at the bottom of the page however many times it allows. Believe it or not, that is how Medium authors get paid. And feel free to leave a comment, join the discussion, and sign up to receive future stories in your inbox.
